WINE TASTING AT NEGOCIANT URBAN WINERY
Wine tasting at Negociant Urban Winery is a relaxing, fun experience. Negociant Winery is an urban winery located in the heart of North Park Boulevard District. It offers a hip vibe with touches of French and Italian flavor.
The urban winery sources grapes from different regions of California and brings the grapes to North Park to make the wine onsite. The mission of Negociant Winery is to bring a boutique winery to the urban North Park community.
The wine tasting cost at Negociant Winery is $10 for a flight of five wines. The wine tasting menu offers red and white wines. We really enjoyed the Barbera wine and the bonus tasting Alicante Bouschet wine which was not on the tasting list. We bought a bottle of the Alicante Bouschet to enjoy again at home. Shelly poured our wines for tasting. She was quite knowledgeable and friendly throughout our wine tasting experience.
Negociant Winery offers gourmet small plates and tapas, imported and local cheeses, and charcuterie as well as other larger items on the menu from the restaurant attached next door. The charcuterie platter we ordered was delicious.
Negociant Winery is pet friendly. Several guests were observed enjoying sipping wine with friends and their dogs. For those interested, Negociant Winery offers a Wine Club as well. Tuesday nights are popular nights as it is Trivia Tuesday Night from 7:00-9:00 pm.
We used our San Diego Urban Wineries (SDUW) Passport which costs $35. This SDUW Passport is a VIP pass at 11 participating San Diego Urban Wineries. With this passport you receive complimentary wine tasting at the urban wineries, quarterly updates, and information on special offers and events. (info@urbanwineries.com) For more information on other San Diego Urban Wineries we have recently visited, you can check our previous blogs. Blue Door Winery discussed in blog dated 8/13/17 and Pali Wine Co & Winery Tasting Room discussed in blog dated 8/22/17.
Our wine tasting experience at Negociant Winery was really fun and we look forward to returning. CHEERS!
