WINE TASTING AT SALERNO WINERY
Wine Tasting at Salerno Winery was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Salerno Winery is nestled in the hills of Ramona Valley. It is a rustic winery with beautiful sculptures, outdoor seating, and fantastic views of hillside vineyards. Salerno Winery’s proprietor has a world class art collection on the grounds of the winery. Salerno Winery grows most of their grapes in their vineyards. They also use grapes grown in other Ramona Vineyards for several wines they produce. The grapes for their Chardonnay and Port wines are sourced from Paso Robles.
Salerno Winery is open for wine tasting Fridays-Sundays from 11:00am to sunset. You can enjoy wine, art, and music while you sit and relax or stroll around the vineyards. The wine tasting flights are $15.00 for 4 wines of your choice. You can choose white wine, red wine, and/or sangria. We choose our 4 wine tastings from the Red Wine list to include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah, and Pinot Noir. Candy poured our wines. She was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Salerno Winery has several large patios with tables, chairs, and umbrellas to sip your wine and savor food they have available to purchase. Salerno Winery is pet friendly and several guests were observed sipping their wines with their dogs beside them. Salerno Winery also has a large Garden Chess area and Bocce Ball area to enjoy. A Wine Club is available as well.
We really enjoyed the wine tasting, beautiful art, sculptures, and views of vineyards at Salerno Winery. We look forward to returning soon.
Cheers!
