LA JOLLA ART & WINE FESTIVAL
The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival took place this past sunny weekend in the heart of La Jolla just steps away from the ocean on Girard Ave. This was the 8th annual art and wine festival that featured world class art, wine, craft beer, gourmet foods, and music surrounded by upscale galleries and stores in La Jolla village.
Regional wines, international wines, and San Diego craft beers were enjoyed in the wine and beer garden. Red wines, white wines, sparkling wines, rose wines, and sangrias were available for tasting. The La Jolla Art and Wine Festival offered free admission to the event. Once inside the wine and beer garden, visitors over 21 years old were charged $4 for each wine tasting or beer tasting. We enjoyed a variety of red wines and discovered several local and international favorites. The food was quite delicious as well.
Pets on a leash were allowed to accompany their owners at the art and wine festival. Many people were observed sipping wine or beer with their friends and with their pets at their sides.
The La Jolla Art and Wine Festival was a fun afternoon and offered something for everyone. Plan ahead for next year’s event and bring your appetite for great food, wine, and beer. CHEERS!
