WILLAKENZIE ESTATE WINE DINNER AT ROY’S RESTAURANT
WillaKenzie Estate Wine Dinner at Roy’s Restaurant in La Jolla was fantastic. Roy’s is a popular Asian/Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant with two locations in San Diego and various other locations in California. WillaKenzie Estate Vineyards and Winery is a small production vineyard in Oregon that produces great Pinot Noirs. The Founder of WillaKenzie Estate Winery settled in Oregon to make Pinot Noir wines in the style that parallels the great wines of Burgundy France.
WillaKenzie Representatives Lisa Redwine and Cory Rowin cordially hosted the WillaKenzie Estate Wine Dinner at Roy’s Restaurant. They were both very knowledgeable about wines and the wine making process. The WillaKenzie Estate Wine Dinner featured a five course meal paired with four different wines.
We really enjoyed the WillaKenzie Estate Wine Dinner at Roy’s Restaurant. Our favorites were the Crispy Pork Belly salad paired with Gamay Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon and the Cast Iron Pan Seared Ribeye paired with the Pierre Leon Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton, Willamette Valley, Oregon. We bought a bottle of the Gamay Noir to enjoy again at home.
The food and wine complemented each other perfectly at the WillaKenzie Estate Wine Dinner. The food was truly delicious and it was a great sensory experience.
We look forward to returning to Roy’s Restaurant soon and attending more wine dinners.
Cheers!
